A Good Sunday

I would like to list for you the components that made up one of the best Sundays I've had in a long while.

1. My church. Amazing praise and worship. And even better it was "choir day". (We don't have one of those "every Sunday choirs". We don't even have a choir loft.) And then my pastor continues to challenge us to live out what the bible teaches us about the new testament church living life together and bringing glory to God through making disciples and multiplying the global church and taking care of his people.

2. Lunch at Panera. Chicken salad on a croissant and sweet tea with three lemons. And great friends. Doesn't get better.

3. An afternoon on the couch catching up on my DVR.

4. An evening with Francesca Battistelli, Leeland and Brandon Heath. The Follow You Tour was at Samford's Wright Center tonight so I headed out catch some good music and praise the Lord a little bit. Or a lot bit.
